ArbFest

We are delighted to launch its Edinburgh International Arbitration Festival (#ArbFest2023), which offers sponsors and delegates a unique opportunity to interact with leading experts and gain insights into the latest international developments in arbitration law, all with the backdrop of Scotland’s famous capital city.

The inaugural ArbFest will be held on 21 and 22 September 2023, a year on from the record-breaking International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) Congress which was also held in Edinburgh. We are delighted that ICCA is supporting the Centre with this new arbitration event and look forward to welcome ICCA and our friends from the international arbitration community back to Scotland.

Featuring food, drink, music, dance and book festival themes, ArbFest2023 will also include a main arbitration festival co-chaired by Lise Bosman, executive director of the ICCA and Brandon Malone, a director of the Centre. Justin D’Agostino MH, CEO of Herbert Smith Freehills, is the first speaker to be named and will provide a keynote speech.

The Thursday will include a welcome networking reception and walking dinner where you can experience a range of Scotland’s finest food and drink. The main conference will be on the Friday, followed by a closing networking reception, walking dinner and a traditional Scottish ceilidh dance. Registration is now open and Festival Passes can now be purchased.
